Product Overview:

 

Salt spray resistant agent R-553 is a versatile and efficient anti-salt spray agent, primarily composed of organic acid alkanolamine polymer. It can enhance the long-term anti-corrosion performance of water-based coatings on materials such as sandblasted iron, cast iron, and weld seams.

Appearance: Light yellow transparent liquid

Water Solubility: Easily soluble in water

 

Applications:

Suitable for water-based epoxy, water-based baking paint, and other water-based coating systems.

 

Key Features:

 

Prevents flash rusting of water-based coatings during the drying process on iron substrates.

Exhibits excellent long-term anti-corrosion performance, enhancing paint film resistance to salt spray.

Easy to disperse, can be added later, and is suitable for low film thickness (<10 microns).

Applicable to carbon steel, malleable iron, galvanized steel, cold-rolled steel, and other substrates.

 

Recommended Usage:

 

Anti-corrosion for lining containers: 0.5% of the total amount

Flash rust prevention on carbon steel substrates: 0.5-1.0% of the total amount

Long-term anti-corrosion: 0.5-1.5% of the total amount

 

Packaging:

Available in 25KG or 200KG drums.

 

Storage Conditions:

Store the product in a sealed, cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse.
