Product Overview:

AL-3S is a water-soluble siloxane ketone type aluminum corrosion inhibitor primarily used in water-based coatings, metalworking fluids, cleaning agents, antifreeze, and other water-based systems. It exhibits excellent corrosion inhibition for aluminum alloys and is suitable for environments with a relatively high pH.

Appearance: Colorless to light yellow transparent liquid

Density (g/cm³, 25°C): 1.23 (±0.05)

pH Value (1% aqueous solution at 25°C): 10-12

Water Solubility: Easily soluble in water

Applications:

Water-based coatings, metalworking fluids, water-based cleaning agents. This product can be used in various water-based environments and can be added to concentrated solutions or used for on-site treatment.

● Provides effective corrosion inhibition for aluminum, including die-cast aluminum prone to discoloration.

● Low addition rate, with a noticeable corrosion inhibition effect when added at 0.5% in concentrated solutions.

● Phosphate-free, reducing the growth of bacteria.

● Good compatibility in working solutions, suitable for on-site addition.

Usage and Dosage:

In concentrated metalworking fluid solutions, the recommended addition rate is 0.5-2%.

For on-site use, the recommended addition rate is 0.2-0.5%.

Storage Conditions: The product should be stored in a sealed, cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse, with a recommended storage temperature of 5°C to 35°C.
