Anti-salt Spray Agent R-592


Product Overview:


R-592 is primarily composed of inorganic metal composite salts. When used in combination with other rust-proof pigments, it can effectively obstruct and delay the penetration of water molecules and chloride ions, thus enhancing the paint film's resistance to salt spray. It is not recommended for standalone use.


Physical Properties:


Appearance: White to slightly yellow powder

Average Particle Size: 10 micrometers

Density (g/cm3, 25°C): 3.6-4.0

Oil Absorption (g/100g): 30-40

pH Value (10% aqueous solution, 25°C): 7-9


Applications:


Suitable for water-based acrylic emulsion, water-based epoxy, water-based polyurethane, water-based alkyd, as well as other solvent-based and powder coatings.

Key Features:


When used in combination with other rust-proof pigments, it significantly enhances the paint film's resistance to salt spray, extending the paint film's lifespan.

Effective in small quantities (2% or more).


Usage and Dosage:


R-592 is recommended to be used in combination with rust-proof pigments, and grinding is required.


Recommended dosage: 2-3% of the total formulation.

A 60% concentration water dispersible pigment paste can be provided as needed, no grinding required.

Store the product in a sealed, cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse, with a recommended storage temperature of 5°C to 35°C.
