Anti-Flash Rust Agent R-765

 

Product Overview:

 

Anti-Flash Rust Agent R-765 is a versatile and highly efficient anti-flash rust agent. It contains both vapor-phase and contact corrosion inhibitors, making it suitable for direct use on metals in latex systems. It also provides corrosion protection for lined containers. R-765 is highly effective within a pH range equal to or greater than 8.5.

Appearance: Light yellow transparent liquid

Density (g/cm³): 1.08 (±0.05)

pH Value (25°C): 10-12

 

Application Fields:

 

R-765 is suitable for use in water-based acrylic latex, water-based polyurethane, water-based epoxy, and other water-based coating systems.

 

Main Characteristics:

 

Effectively prevents various forms of corrosion inside containers, eliminating unsightly corrosion and improving the container opening process, enhancing the coating quality.

Provides excellent corrosion protection for both the upper and lower layers of container linings.

Prevents corrosion resulting from lining damage.

Coatings can be stored in metal containers without pre-coated corrosion protection layers, reducing costs.

Suitable for use on substrates such as carbon steel, malleable cast iron, galvanized steel, and cold-rolled steel.

Excellent initial water resistance of the coating.

 

Usage and Dosage:

 

It is recommended to add R-765 during paint formulation. The specific dosage should be determined through experimentation.

 

Recommended usage:

 

Corrosion protection for lining containers: 0.2-0.5% of the total coating

Anti-flash rust: 0.2-1.0% of the total coating
