Product Overview:

 

Anti-Flash Rust Agent R-753P can be used either on its own or in combination with other water-soluble corrosion inhibitors. In water-based coatings, it exhibits particularly noticeable anti-flash rust protection, especially on welds and cast iron, with virtually no flash rust when used at concentrations exceeding 1%. R-753P does not contain nitrites and offers good anti-flash rust properties.

Application Fields:

 

R-753P is suitable for use in water-based acrylic latex systems, water-based epoxy, water-based polyurethane, and other water-based coating systems.

 

Main Characteristics:

 

Exhibits excellent anti-flash rust protection, especially on rust-prone substrates such as cast iron, welds, and submerged arc welds.

Also applicable to substrates such as hot-rolled carbon steel, cold-rolled steel, galvanized iron, silicon steel, and more.

Suitable for use in water-based two-component polyurethane systems, does not affect the activation period, and can enhance the water resistance of the coating.

Suitable for use in water-based two-component epoxy systems, can be added to Component A epoxy resin, good stability, and can improve the salt spray resistance of the coating.

Can also be used to enhance salt spray resistance in water-based baking paint systems.

 

Usage and Dosage:

 

For general carbon steel substrates, add 0.5-1% of the total coating.

For welds and cast iron substrates, add 1-2% of the total coating.

Add during the paint formulation stage.
