Anti-Flash Rust Agent R-703

Product Overview:

Anti-Flash Rust Agent R-703 can be used either on its own or in combination with other water-soluble corrosion inhibitors. In water-based coatings, it provides excellent anti-flash rust protection, particularly on welds and cast iron, with almost no flash rust when used at concentrations exceeding 1%. R-703 does not contain nitrite and offers good anti-flash rust properties, extremely low foaming, and excellent hard water stability.

Application Fields:

R-703 is suitable for use in water-based acrylic latex systems, water-based epoxy, water-based polyurethane, and other water-based coating systems.

Main Characteristics:

Offers excellent anti-flash rust protection, particularly on rust-prone substrates such as cast iron, welds, and especially submerged arc welds.

Also suitable for hot-rolled carbon steel, cold-rolled steel, galvanized iron, and other substrates.

Usage and Dosage:

For general carbon steel substrates, add 0.5-1% of the total coating.

For welds and cast iron substrates, add 0.5-1.5% of the total coating.

Add during the paint formulation stage.
